Zhongxin. com, Lanzhou, September 7 (Zhang Jing) "Watering, plowing, applying chemical fertilizers and pesticides & HELIP; … Although these crops are rough, they all have to pay attention to ways and means, and fertilizers and pesticides have to be deployed in proportion. " Chen Shixiu, a farmer in Lanxing Village, Fujiachuan Town, anding district City, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, called it "the formula of farming". In the past, he only thought farming was a manual activity, but now he thinks it is a technical activity.

At the age of 58, he has been farming at home all his life, but since he went to work in a cooperative three years ago, "it seems that he learned how to farm." He said that he learned technology at work, gave his family 6 mu of land and began to plant it scientifically. The crops grew gratifying and the harvest was much higher.

From 7: 00 a.m. to 7: 00 p.m. every day, Chen Shixiu can commute to work in less than 10 minutes by motorcycle, with an average daily salary of 100 yuan. He can also take time to take care of his wife who is in poor health at home. He said: "Now, with this income, my family is well off."

The place where Chen Shixiu works is a local agricultural agricultural and sideline professional cooperative. The model of "cooperative+farmer+labor export" is adopted here, relying on agricultural agricultural agricultural and sideline franchise stores and agricultural demonstration bases to provide 100 jobs for poor households, of which 47 poor households realize an annual income of 30,000 yuan.

Dang Chunxiang, the chairman of the cooperative, was affectionately called "Party Woman" by migrant farmers. In the local area, "Woman" is the intimate name of the elderly to the young lady, just like their own daughter. Dang Chunxiang often teaches villagers to mix fertilizers by hand, and is a "farmland teacher" when migrant workers work.

Chen Shixiu said that he is old and has a bad memory. He always can’t remember the types and quantities of fertilizers, so he just asks "party women". Dang Chunxiang also tried his best to teach the villagers all the scientific planting techniques. "When the crops are good, the days will be better."

In 2003, Dang Chunxiang set up a cooperative. She led the villagers to build greenhouses, grow vegetables and engage in farming. Up to now, the cooperative has transferred 2,063 mu of cultivated land and 700 mu of returning farmland to forests, so as to establish a modern agricultural demonstration base. More than 300 villagers who transfer land earn 1000 yuan as land rent every year.

In an interview with Zhongxin.com recently, Dang Chunxiang said that at first, only 38 farmers in the cooperative invested in shares, and they participated in the quantitative dividend distribution in 1000 yuan every year. Today, the number of farmers who have invested in shares has increased to 427, of which 92 are poor households.

"Set off at 5 o’clock in the morning on time, load a carriage of seasonal vegetables, transport them to Dingxi wholesale market, and sell them all out within one hour." In order to make the cooperative produce high benefits, Dang Chunxiang sells it early every day, with an average monthly sales of more than 200,000 yuan.

"Green organic vegetables grown in greenhouses are fresh and healthy, and people in the city like them." Dang Chunxiang was busy with the morning market and drove back to the cooperative for an hour to give technical guidance, plant disease prevention and control, and facility modulation to the villagers.

After a busy day, her dinner time was naturally pushed after 9 o’clock. During this period, Dang Chunxiang kept reading books, watching agricultural TV programs, and even typed in "greenhouse vegetable cultivation" on the Internet to learn scientific planting techniques.

In 2018, Dang Chunxiang invested in building 138 solar greenhouses and building poverty alleviation industrial parks. She also encouraged farmers to develop contract farming, signed a contract with 1,000 farmers to plant 3,300 mu of corn and 5,200 mu of peas, and drove five surrounding villages to build 10,000 mu of vegetable production demonstration bases.

In recent years, Dang Chunxiang promoted dryland vegetables, mainly peppers and zucchini, to shallow mountainous areas, and promoted standardized vegetable cultivation in the whole town. As a result, she won the honorary titles of "National Outstanding Rural Practical Talents", "Model Worker in Gansu Province" and "March 8th Red Flag Bearer in Dingxi City". The local women’s Federation also recommended it as "the star of women’s poverty alleviation", and the Gansu Women’s Federation rallied women’s strength to help the poor, United and led women to join in the work of poverty alleviation.
